EAST SIDE STORY: Nashville’s only all-local bookstore located in the heart of East Nashville helps local writers tell their best stories.

East Side Story is also publishing an anthology (book/CD combo) titled Based On: Words, Notes, and Art from Nashville.

On Monday, June 15, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., the community will celebrate its release with a one-night release concert at Belmont University’s McAfee Concert Hall. The evening will be hosted by Music City Roots’ Craig Havighurst and include performances by a majority of the contributing artists all to commemorate the launch of this unique project.
